Shadow

So once familiar, You faded
Did you get lost? Or did I travel too far
I thought you were there all the time
But today daylight showed me otherwise

Now realizing the change,
I walk back to this dark cave
Amusing myself with a small wick of candlelight
as I try to reshape the shadow I was once fond
til the Candle melts
